Tromba da Caccia
The bell
flare of this instrument is copied after the Corno da Caccia by Johann
Wilhelm Haas, Nürnberg 1688, now in the Trumpet Museum at Bad Säckingen,
Germany. The remaining measurements have been computer-simulated after
the well-known portrait of Johann Gottfried Reiche, by Elias Gottlob Haußmann,
1727.
The tromba is manufactured according to historical techniques. All the
tubes are made with soldered seam. No hydraulically bent parts are used.
Pitch notations refer to a1 = 440 Hz.
