Baroque trumpet
- Short model - 3 hole system
Short form
in brass with chased bell after Johann Leonhard Ehe (Nuremberg 1664-1724)
or Johann Wilhelm Haas (Nuremberg 1649-1723). Single crooks are available
for both crooking systems.

bell made from hammered sheet metal; garland, and ball are richly ornamented
and silver plated. The instrument plays in F 440 with the E crook, in
F 415 with the Eb crook and in D 440 with the traditional Db crook of
the above trumpet

Bell options for
short model Baroque trumpet
The instrument
can be fitted with any one or all of the bells listed below. To calculate
the price of a corpus with a renaissance bell, the price of the standard
bell (825.-) is subtracted from the price of the corpus (1430.-); the
price of the desired bell or bells is then added to the resulting difference
of 605.-. When using the bell exchanging mechanism, the chosen bell is
fastened with a screw which allows a quick exchange, even during a concert.
The ball (CHF 220.-) is not included in the price of single bells.
1. Baroque bell

0.4 mm after Johann Leonhard Ehe II. Fine, well centred tone; good
tonal penetration and projection; suitable for top part in a trumpet
ensemble, especially for processional fanfares. |

only for Renaissance music, but also for the lowest part in a Baroque
trumpet ensemble.

bell Nr. 1, 2, 4, ca. 0,35 mm, Made from hammered brass sheets,
silver plating of garland and ball included. Rich sound, soft bindings
and easy trills, wide range of interpretation potentiality; not

Our search
for quality and authenticity of sound even for the vented trumpet has
resulted in a wide range of equipment which can be used either instead
of, or in addition to the standard accessories.
- „A“–Quality:
chased leadpipe receiver; easier response and brighter sound in the
high register
- „H“–Quality:
tube soldered from hammered sheet metal; richer sound in the high register;
less fundamentals and as a result slightly less stability.
- „T–Quality:
seamless tubes, transformed in a slow process which results in a hard
surface; easier response in the high register.
